The defect
Roush CleanTech, LLC (Roush) is recalling certain 2015-2017 Roush-modified Ford E-450, F59, F-650 and F-750 vehicles equipped with certain Generation 4 Propane Conversion Kits. The fuel control valve solenoid may short circuit, shutting off the flow of propane to the engine, causing the engine to shut off.
The risk
An engine stall while driving increases the risk of a crash.
The fix
Roush has notified owners, and dealers will replace the fuel control valve solenoid, free of charge. The recall began on March 22, 2017. Owners may contact Roush customer service at 1-800-597-6874. Roush's number for this recall is VR.
